She completed her law education at Yale Law School. There she was also a Coker Fellow for Constitutional Law. In addition to this, she was employed as a clerk in the Office of Judge Juan R. Torruella of U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit San Juan Puerto Rico. Asha has been admitted to the State Bar of New York (2003 as well as Connecticut and Connecticut in the year 2003). Asha has been a frequent writer for ABC News and has written Op-eds in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, as well as The Washington Post.
