DMX began to rap in the latter part of the 1990s. He debuted his debut album The album It's Hot and Hell was Dark May 19, 1998. The other albums he released were... and There was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... again Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ Flesh of Blood and Flesh. The album, titled ... and Then There was X was nominated for a Grammy for the Best Rap Album category in 2001. Along with his music professional career, he's appeared in films like Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Excit Wounds Never Die Alone Never Die alone bleeding Romeo Will Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw The Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
